Course Description: STABLE is a neonatal education program that focuses on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization and care of sick infants. STABLE stands for the 6 assessment and care modules in the program:
- Sugar and Safe Care
- Temperature
- Airway
- Blood Pressure
- Lab Work
- Emotional Support
- Bonus: Quality Improvement
Part 1 (pre-course work): Participants must complete 2-3 hours of online course work at least 24 hours before the in-person class date (S.T.A.B.L.E. Foundations), which costs $54, and purchase the $65 book (students can share books). Pre-course work instructions and course materials will be sent once a participant registers for the course.
Part 2: Instructor-led, in-person course
Part 3 (post-course work): None, certificate is generated at the end of the instructor-led event.
