  Price: 100.00

Location:  University of Utah Center for Patient Simulation

Date:  By Appointment Only

Duration: 1-2 hours

The American Heart Association HeartCode® ACLS course requires passing a hands-on skills session for participants to complete the certification process. Completing both the online and hands-on components is necessary to earn the official AHA ACLS Certification.

How It Works

Online Modules

Go to AHA HeartCode® ACLS to complete the online portion of the course. Schedule a skills pass-off with the Center for Patient Simulation

Skills Pass-Off

At the Center for Patient Simulation, participants will complete a series of ACLS scenarios on a high-fidelity patient simulator. Participants will pass of high-quality BLS, airway management and megacode management. If these skills are not complete according to the AHA standards, participants may have to reschedule and pay to come to another skills session.

Certification of Completion

Once the online session is complete and all skills have been passed off, participants will receive an eCard from the AHA. Certification is good for 2 years from the time the card is submitted.
