Annual Perioperative Echocardiography Review Course

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of perioperative echocardiography. It will cover the basics of normal echocardiographic anatomy, valvular and ventricular assessment, and pathology, as well as advanced topics relevant to real-world practice of this complex field. Teaching techniques will include didactic lectures, hands-on practice, Q&A sessions, large volumes of image review, and audience response questions.  In addition to providing PDF copies of all slides, each attendee will receive access to the video recordings of the lectures as well.

Attendees may also take their training to the next level by purchasing and participating in our extra day of workshops. We are excited to offer an additional day of hands-on workshop training, on Thursday, May 12^th. Our workshops will include a practical application of 3D echocardiography, hands-on transthoracic echocardiography, and a new dissection wet lab where small groups of participants will be able to review and study the anatomical workings of the heart via pig heart dissection.
