The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideas. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.

Congratulations, by receiving this membership invitation you have met the following criteria for induction into the social work honor society, Phi Alpha:

Enrolled in a social work program
Completed a least 37.5% degree required credit hours in your Social Work program
Rank in the top 35% grade point average in required social work courses at the University of Utah

This award will be added to your University of Utah transcript and included in the CSW Convocation program.

You are also invited to attend the Induction Ceremony & luncheon

Date to be decided upon member votes.

NOTE: If you are already a member, you do not need to pay again as this is a lifetime membership. Select "current member" from the drop down above to be recognized on your transcript and in the graduation program.
