Course Description:
This is an introduction to Botox and biosimilars for dental practitioners. Botox is a versatile medication that can greatly improve a patient's quality of life. Information regarding required training in Utah, safe use, and clinical applications and techniques will be discussed.
Course Objectives
Alec Scott Griffin, DDS
Alec Griffin received his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science with minors in Spanish and Microbiology from Idaho State University. He graduated with his DDS from Creighton University as part of the Idaho Dental Education Program (IDEP). At that time, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and was a recipient of the Pierre Fauchard Certificate of Merit. Upon completing a GPR residency at the Salt Lake City, UT VA Health Care System, Dr. Griffin was accepted an appointment as an attending dentist. Since then, he has practiced and researched at the VA hospital. Dr. Griffin also works part-time in a private clinic.
