Course Title: FUNdamentals of implant planning and placement

Guest Speaker: Dr. Taylor Manalili


Course description: This course will review the fundamental diagnostic and treatment planning concepts in implant dentistry. Dr. Manalili will review clinical protocols to confidently and successfully place single and multiple implants utilizing guided surgery. Walk away with understanding the crucial elements throughout the treatment planning phase and the surgical execution to set the stage for long-term, predictable treatment outcomes. 


Course objectives:


  1. Identify critical factors to recognize when treatment planning implant restorations
  2. Describe guided surgery protocols for a single unit to complete arch implant procedures
  3. Illustrate provisionalization solutions for single tooth to full-arch implant prostheses


Dr. Taylor Manalili

Bio:  Dr. Taylor Manalili joined Glidewell in 2018, where she has helped to enhance laboratory protocols, conducted clinical research, and performed advanced vital work, including implant placement, chairside restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitation. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Northeastern University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University. She also obtained a certificate in prosthodontics and digital technologies. As an international lecturer, she teaches continuing education courses on implant surgery and restorative dentistry. In addition, Dr. Manalili has completed her Fellowship and Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Recently, she has joined the Misch Resnik International Implant Institute as a faculty member.
