EMT Online Courses

for Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The EMT is responsible for a wide range of knowledge and skills which includes material originally learned, as well as new information resulting from the constant growth and evolution of the field of emergency medical care. In order to maintain up-to-date proficiency, an EMT must regularly participate in educational programs which review the essential components of the national standard curriculum as well as those which provide exposure to new knowledge and skills resulting from advances in emergency medical care.

This website provides a variety of classes for Continuing Medical Education (CME), including our Complete EMT National Standard Curriculum Refresher Course (24 CME hours), previously known as the DOT Refresher Course. You should review your local agency protocols in order to determine the total number of annual CME hours that must be maintained for certification or licensure and how many of those hours can be obtained via Internet education.
