Shock or more appropriately hypoperfusion is a mechanism the body uses to save the organism undergoing stress. It can occur for many different reasons but knowing how to control it is ESSENTIAL and a very important part of an EMTs skills. This lecture focuses on knowing how to manage hypoperfusion to ultimately save the the patient.
