This class focuses on beginning guitar technique, covering different styles of playing including techniques such as finger picking and flat-picking. Throughout the course, students will learn to read standard music notation, rhythmic notation, study scale theory, basic chords, and accompaniment styles. Students will develop performance skills, assessment will be performance-based, while preparing for a recital at the end of the semester. Classes meet weekly on Tuesday's at 4:00 pm at FAW room 110. Class size is limited to eight students. Tuition includes the materials fee of $30.00. Registration fee is required.

Annual Registration Fee

Annual Registration Fee Price: 25.00

All Students must pay an annual $25.00 non-refundable registration fee. The annual fee is due with your Fall Registration. When the registration fee has been received, your registration is complete.
