2018 Pharmacy Law Update: So What's New

Technician Objectives:

1. Describe at least three changes to the Utah Pharmacy Act & Rules and how they will impact your practice as a pharmacy technician.

2.  Identify key areas of concern for DOPL Inspectors and Investigators where pharmacy technicians can and should be involved.

3. Discuss how pharmacy technicians can better support the pharmacist because of recent changes and enhancements to the Utah Controlled Substance Database (CSD). 

4. Review key elements to the changes in the Federal and State Schedule II controlled substance laws and rules and how they involve pharmacy technicians.

5. Develop a plan for implementing the changes in pharmacy laws and rules into your personal practice and work setting as a result of attending this continuing education offering.

This is a LIVE WEBINAR CPE activity for pharmacy technicians. Successful completion of the webinar involves passing the final exam with a grade of 75% or higher. Successful completion of this exam will result in 1.5 contact hours (0.15 CEU).
