Implications of the Affordable Health Care Act

on Social Work Policy & Practice

A Professional Education Lecture Series

With the changes in health care in the United States, many professionals are requesting information about how reforms and expansions of our health care system will impact work with clients and in agency settings.  The series will begin to address questions about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how this legislation will impact professional social workers in Utah.  Through these interactive discussions, we will create an atmosphere for dialogue about the current issues surrounding implementation of the new health care laws.  Expert presenters will engage audiences in conversations about various facets of the ACA, as well as information about the Act’s impact on different populations.
