New Student Orientation - Additional Overnight Stay

Students who have registered for First-Year or Transfer New Student Orientation for Fall 2024 can reserve a single night in the on-campus residence halls (Kahlert Village) a night before and/or after to help accommodate with your travel plans. If you have not registered for a New Student Orientation, you are not eligible to register for an Additional Overnight Stay.

 

Additional Overnight Stay is available for students who are completing New Student Orientation. Reservations for additional nights in the residence halls are only available to students immediately prior to or following their New Student Orientation. No parents, family members, or guests will be accommodated overnight. Reservations must be made 7-days prior to arrival date. 

 

The cost will be $50 per night; linen kit included. This cost does not include transportation, meals, or entertainment. Check-in will be in Kahlert Village with Summer Conferences on the main floor. Check-in is open from 6am to Midnight and Summer Conferences.

 

Students will be responsible for scheduling transportation between the airport and campus. To make arrangements students can call a local taxi cab or make a reservation with a local shuttle company such as Shuttle Express.  Check our website for additional travel information.

 

Lastly, the on-campus dining hall is only open until 7pm during the summer. Students can purchase dinner there with cash or a credit card. Otherwise, students will need to take public transportation to nearby eateries.
