This course is an introduction to the skills and systems utilized during rescue operations during a swiftwater rescue. Morning instruction will take place in a classroom followed by a day in the field with demonstrations and time to practice skills. This course will focus on swiftwater awareness skills, personal safety in a moving water environment and an introduction to rescue specific skills.
