Who We Are

In 1971, the Women's Resource Center (WRC) opened at the University of Utah. The primary goal was to support "Displaced Homemakers" in the community. Since that time, the WRC has become so much more by offering support groups and counseling services, providing financial assistance through scholarships and emergency funds, and launching initiatives that provide a platform for women and others to succeed in education, career and life.

Who We Help

Although the Women's Resource Center primarily focuses on women, we serve all individuals who come to our organization seeking assistance. From traditional students, to single parents, to refugees, to adult learners, the WRC maintains a "big tent" attitude, welcoming all students who need assistance in improving their circumstances and completing their higher education.
