Who We Are

In 1971, the Women's Resource Center (WRC) opened at the University of Utah. The primary goal was to support "Displaced Homemakers" in the community. Since that time, the WRC has become so much more by offering support groups and counseling services, providing financial assistance through scholarships and emergency funds, and launching initiatives that provide a platform for women and others to succeed in education, career and life.

Who We Help

Although the Women's Resource Center primarily focuses on women, we serve all individuals who come to our organization seeking assistance. From traditional students, to single parents, to refugees, to adult learners, the WRC maintains a "big tent" attitude, welcoming all students who need assistance in improving their circumstances and completing their higher education.

“The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.”

This event is themed after Erin Morgenstern’s novel of the same name, Night Circus.  It will be an evening of illusion, transforming Infinity Event Center into a whimsical black and white fete for one night only. Guests will indulge in the magic of the circus, enjoying dining, drinks and breathtaking entertainment. Prepare to be amazed at the sights, sounds and sensations of Le Cirque des Reves.

Donations will be collected entirely through ticket sales and sponsorships, with no additional asks for donations throughout the party. We invite you to support the WRC by selecting one of the following sponsorship packages or purchasing an individual ticket, and joining us for a night you and your guests won't forget!
