Facilities
Kenneth P. Burbidge Jr. Family Athletics Academic Center
The Kenneth P. Burbidge Jr. Family Athletics Academic Center is a state-of-the-art academic facility that provides academic services to all student-athletes. The 15,000 square-foot Center is home to academic services offices, a large computer lab/study hall space, individual study rooms, and a large classroom. This space gives student-athletes an integrated learning environment meant to enhance their academic and personal development while earning a coveted degree from the University of Utah.
Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Facility
The Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center is a new state-of-the-art facility that provides over 120,000 square feet of space to help student-athletes, coaches, and staff perform at the highest levels. The building isn't just for football purposes. The training, rehabilitation and nutritional needs of every University of Utah student-athlete are enhanced greatly by this facility. The building also has a 250-seat cafeteria that serves meals tailored to each student-athlete's diet.
Dumke Family Softball Facility
Softball recently built a beautiful Utah Softball Stadium to call our home field. This facility was to be completed in three phases, with phase one and two being completed in 2014. Phase three includes concessions, a ticket booth, a press box and a team room. With the demands of Pac-12 competition, it is imperative we complete this phase as soon as possible. Your support to complete the stadium is much appreciated!
Dumke Gymnastics Center
When the Dumke Gymnastics Center opened in 1999, Utah had the premier gymnastics training facility in the country. The once state-of-the-art facility helped Utah Gymnastics break barriers for women in sports for over 20 years. The world has now caught up and needed improvements aren't extravagant, they are essential. They are core to our mission of attracting world class athletes to our program. We need your help to expand and upgrade the Dumke Center and ensure the future of Utah Gymnastics.
Jon M. and Karen Huntsman Basketball Center
The Jon M. and Karen Huntsman Basketball Facility is a 101,000 square-foot, four-story building that opened in October 2015. This state-of-the-art facility contains dual gymnasiums for both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams equipped with video editing areas, courtside taping tables and cardio equipment. This facility makes basketball operations more efficient for the teams and gives the University a competitive edge in creating and maintaining successful and winning basketball programs.
Spence Eccles Ski Team Building
The new Ski Facility is in its final fundraising stages. Our goal of raising $2 million for the 5800 square foot multi-level building is on track but needs assistance. 150 former Utes have contributed so far. All donors will be recognized and with some significant naming opportunities available. Do not miss out on this opportunity as we build the Ski Team's new home just north of the new Student Life Center and McCarthey Track.
Rice-Eccles Stadium South Endzone Renovation
Rice-Eccles Stadium is going to go under renovation. It will involve demolishing and rebuilding the south end zone, which was built in 1982 and was the only piece of old Rice Stadium retained when the current stadium opened on the same grounds in 1998. Plans call to increase audience capacity from 45,807 to 51,444. No state or taxpayer dollars will be used in this project. For more information regarding this project, contact the Crimson Club at 801-585-UTES (8837)

Indoor Track & Field Honoring Lauren McCluskey
We are developing plans for an indoor practice facility, which will include an indoor track in honor of Lauren McCluskey. This track will allow our track & field team to practice, compete, and host indoor competitions year-round. We expect this facility to have major performance impacts and recruiting advantages for our teams. We can accelerate our plans with your support. If the facility cannot be completed, gifts will be directed to scholarships/furthering the U's violence prevention efforts.
