As part of every undergraduate student's Mechanical Engineering degree, the Senior Design Capstone classes provided students the opportunity to design and build real-world devices, systems, or machines. The Nuts and Bolts Development Fund provides direct funding to students to build prototypes of their Senior Design projects. Please include the course and project in the Special Instructions.

With more than 1,000 students, the department has reached its limits of growth at a time when the demand for highly qualified graduates is at an all-time high. The Mechanical Engineering Department urgently needs additional space for students, laboratories, faculty and equipment.
