Scholarship Donations and payment for travel for 2023 trip
The Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity is proud to host a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Ghana with the Reverend France Davis, a civil rights advocate and humanitarian. The trip will include a historical in-depth look at the country of Ghana as well as the economic revolution that is currently making it an emerging market leader in the West African region. This is a unique opportunity to explore both the beautiful landscape of lush forests, picturesque coast, and historical landmarks with one of Utah’s most recognized civil rights and faith leaders.
The trip will be co-hosted by the newly formed Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity, Executive Director, Dr. Stephen C. Alder. Dr. Alder has been working in Ghana for over 2 decades and is an expert on community and economic development from a global perspective.

Rev. France Davis Scholarship Fund
We are delighted to establish the Reverend France A. Davis Endowed Scholarship Fund to provide support to University of Utah students to study and experience the unique aspects of Ghana as part of their academic career. The scholarship fund will provide a set amount of funding each year to selected students to participate in a university program with a tie to our partner campus, Ensign Global College, located in Ghana. Scholarship recipients will be chosen via an application process.
Our hope is to create scholarship fund that will honor the legacy of Rev. France A. Davis for perpetuity and give generations of students a chance to experience a portion of their education in the beautiful country of Ghana.
