Export control regulations refer to federal laws that prohibit the export of equipment, technologies, data, information, and teaching materials to other countries. Recently, export control regulations have become stricter in the US and in other countries, making scholars who work with sensitive materials and/or international collaborators more vulnerable to prosecution. This workshop explains export control regulations and how to best protect yourself.
