CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The English Language Institute (ELI) offers its students the opportunity to learn English in an academic setting, make new friends, and experience American culture in an enriching and welcoming program on the beautiful University of Utah campus.

This $290 payment includes placement testing, textbook, and tuition for the 8-week session! If you have not taken an English placement test for this program in the last 2 years, you will need to pay for the $50 placement test fee,
The 8-week session will meet Monday through Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30 PM.
- Session 1: January 19 – March 12, 2021 [FULL]
- Session 2: March 15 - May 6, 2021 [FULL]
- Session 3: May 17 - July 9, 2021 [FULL]

Each course will include:
- Highly qualified ELI instructors covering English grammar, reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
- in-person and online instruction. Masks and social distancing will be maintained at all times in the classrooms.
- A limited number of laptops available for students to check out during the session.

The Zions Evening ESL Program is for people living in the local community. It cannot be used to obtain or maintain a student visa.
A placement test and official acceptance into the program is required before a student can be registered.

- You must have received official acceptance before paying for the course.
- The cost for each student is $200, plus an additional $55 for the textbook. All other program costs are generously paid for by Zions Bank.
