Come join us for a weekend of hands-on activities at the Bluff Campus! This is a great opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy some time in nature while working with your hands. You'll also have the chance to meet new people, connect with friends, and spend quality time with family.

 

On the first day, enjoy the scenic drive to Bluff. Arrive in the evening and set up your tent in your favorite spot on the transformed campus, which was updated during the 20th-anniversary event in 2024.

 

The second day is all about getting your hands dirty! We'll have a variety of hands-on activities using soil and wood that are fun for adults and children alike. We're planning to upgrade the fields around Don-Don Den-Den. In the evening, we'll have a BBQ and bonfire, and enjoy the beautiful starry sky.

 

On the third day, you can go for a morning hike, relax with a cup of coffee, or recharge your creative batteries before heading home.

 

We especially encourage those who have participated in DesignBuildUTAH@Bluff (a.k.a. DesignBuildBLUFF) to return with their children and share the importance and joy of hands-on work with the next generation. If you are considering participating in DesignBuildUTAH@Bluff in the future, this is a great opportunity to come and see what it's all about.

  • Location: Bluff Campus, 210 7th E, Bluff, UT 84512
  • Participation Fee: $40/adult.
    • Children under 18 years old are free.
    • Includes 2 camping fees at Bluff Campus and Saturday night BBQ


Accommodation Details:

For this hands-on weekend, please bring your own tent or camping trailer for lodging. This will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the outdoor experience at our Bluff Campus.

Meals:

Breakfast and lunch will be self-catered. You are welcome to bring your own food and utilize the kitchen and refrigerator facilities on-site. We've got you covered for Saturday evening! The staff will provide all the ingredients for a communal BBQ. Please bring your own beverages.

If you'd like to explore local options, there are restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity where you can enjoy meals.

Showers are available on-site for your convenience.

 

A Note About Children:

This event is very family-friendly, and we enthusiastically welcome children! However, please be aware that this is not a childcare or babysitting service. We kindly request that parents actively supervise their children and participate in the creative activities together. We want this to be an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone, both young and old.

Refund Policy - Event Cancellation due to Weather or Natural Disaster

  • Partial Refund: If the event is canceled during its course, we will assess the portion of the event that was completed. A partial refund may be issued based on the remaining portion of the event that was canceled.

  • Communication: In the event of a cancellation, we will promptly notify all ticket holders via email and through our official event website and social media channels.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for events beyond our control, such as severe weather or natural disasters. Our decision to cancel the event will be based on safety considerations and will be made in consultation with relevant authorities.
  • Alternative Options: If feasible, we may offer alternative options such as rescheduling the event or providing tickets to a future event.

Participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability, and those under 18 years of age will require a parent or guardian's signature.
