We are dedicated to increasing access to education, especially to students in need. Your gift supports the more than 100 student scholarships the College awards each year.

College of Science Student Emergency Fund
Donations to this fund support students from throughout the College of Science who are facing unexpected financial hardship. These gifts help these students remain in school and progress towards graduation. The College of Science includes the School of Biological Science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Mathematics, and Department of Physics and Astronomy.

ACCESS Scholars
The College of Science ACCESS Scholars is a first-year community, research and scholarship program for students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The ACCESS Scholars Program provides incoming students with a signature first-year experience that helps identify academic and career goals, builds social awareness, develops leadership skills, connects students to mentors and a network of over 800 program alumni and builds a community of future leaders in science.

Science Research Initiative
The Science Research Initiative (SRI) program offers College of Science students the opportunity to participate in discovery-based scientific research starting their first day on campus, with no prior research experience required. Students gain research skills, collaborate with peers, and connect with faculty across the University.
